The Cause
TheGlint has paired up with various artists to intersect the most progressive minds in art, technology and entrepreneurship. ArtFlux melds together thinkers and doers whose one common goal is to improve the human experience.
While improving the human experience, ArtFlux aims to help Hacker Dojo with their fundraising effort. For over 2 years Hacker Dojo has been a strong community and a great place to throw hackathons, conferences, classes, movie nights, and job fairs. These events (legally termed our "permission to assemble") are essential to the spirit of the Dojo.
In the past, the City of Mountain View had been more permissive of occupancy limits in buildings; however, due to fire code and Mountain View zoning regulations, our ability to hold large events is currently capped at 49 attendees.
Now Hacker Dojo is launching a massive fundraising effort to raise $250K so that we can renovate our building and invite everybody back to assemble again!

Artflux Opening: 
Andrew Jones, Mugpush and DJTeeko unite to create art and music in real-time. Teeko, known for being one of the funkiest and most soulful turntablist is looking to continue pushing the boundaries of Turntable music.
Andrew Jones is a pioneer in the digital art community with one of the sickest collaborations with Obscura Digital where his art was projected on the Oprah House in Sydney. Let's see what Teeko and Andrew will create in this collaboration at ArtFlux.
ARTFLUX Performing Arts: 
Forest Stearns is known for live painting. Ollie Glatzer is a master in his own right. Lindsey Marks has been pushing burlesque dance into the realms of performance art with a more contemporary take. You'll have to be at ArtFlux to see the outcome of this collaboration.
Adam and Melissa is part of 5HE, a group that received praised by the New York Times for its conviction, authority and finesse. With Lindsey Marks they continue their innovation in chamber music at ArtFlux.
ARTFLUX Visual Feat: 
Mantle Sound Core delivers a twist of electronica and experimental sounds resulting in a unique space-age stew. Mantle Sound Core performs with musical and visual manipulations using vintage boomboxes with displays.
Ambient cassette tapes on boomboxes are set up all around the venue. Some of them have built in TVs streaming the visuals
